See right sidebar for details. MOST RECENT MATERIAL IS AT TOP January 12, 2005 The Township Committee is acting like they don't owe anyone an explanation for their actions. Recently, the committee voted to replace solicitor Jim Seeley with Frank DiDomenico. For reasons known only to the committee, they have created an expensive situation for the tax payers and residents of the township. Mr. DiDomenico is currently the solicitor for the Downe Township Board of Education and solicitor for the Planning and Zoning Board. In order to be solicitor for the Committee, Mr. DiDomenico will have to resign as solicitor for the P&Z board. There is considerable question as to whether he will be able to represent both the Township Committee and the Board of Education.
