This is the main page: http://www.njactb.org After reaching the search page, use the instructions below to select the county and municipality and other choices you want. The drop down selection window is indicated by the small, downward pointing triangle. Click on the triangle to make your selection.
If you have selected "Simple Search" in Step 4 you will see the following additional entry screens. Most users will not have enough information for Location, Block, Lot and Qualifier. If so, enter it. If not, enter owner's last name. The name must be spelled correctly. You may have to experiment with the spelling of names to get it correct. After entering your search criteria, click on "Submit Search"
As an example, I have chosen the following information for my search criteria: Step 1: Current Tax List Step 2: Cumberland-2004 Step 3: Downe Twp. Step 4: Simple Step 5: Standard As a search example, I used the Downe Township mayor, Chester Riland. I have used his name in the "Owner Name" search criteria and after clicking on "Submit Search" I received the following search results:
All of the column headings are self-explanatory with the exception of "Detail". Notice that in the Detail column, there is a hyperlink to "More Information". I selected the first item in the list for Mr. Riland's property at Block 12, Lot 7 and received the following results:
