After September 11, 2001
the United States Military changed dramatically. The World Trade Center
attacks showed all military leaders everywhere that the game rules had
changed...and changed dramatically.
The attacks
showed military leaders that the rules had changed to what is now called
Fourth Generation Warfare
or, more descriptively, asymmetric warfare.
By the time
of the September attacks, the young boy who wanted to be a soldier had
been retired from over three decades of Special
Operations
military activity. He was staying busy in retirement by doing contract
computer surveillance snooping for the CIA, FBI and others within the Beltway.
Once a spy always
